2021: Wings and Roots

Wishing you a happy new year despite the challenging beginning 2021 has already greeted us with.

As yogis we do not complain about life, instead, we embrace what comes our way and we make the most out of it. Also, as yogis, we understand the working of karma -- action -- we know things do not happen in a vacuum. We appreciate the fact that everything we say or do will have an impact on our life as well as the lives of others in this moment and for generations to come. We are living through the reverberations of past actions by us and others; and what we do today, will reverberate forward and back. Because we are non-violent, our actions heal and pave the way for peace, abundance, and prosperity. The time, date, and place of which remains unknown to us. So, we work hard with devotion and dedication, we set intentions and sankalpas, we plant seeds and we nourish them as we let them sprout out at their own time and pace. We simply trust the universe and we know the universe always listens and delivers.

The theme of this new year is Wings and Roots. Wings to fly, be creative, operate outside of our comfort zone, try something new, or do whatever your heart desires. Roots to be connected to Source, rooted in our essence, grounded in the knowledge of our True Nature. It is for this reason that we are launching the first series of workshops in January and February under the title Roots & Wings:

The dates are as follows:

  • Session 1: Friday January 15, 2021

8a to 9:30a

  • Session 2: Wednesday February 3, 2021

8a to 9:30a

  • Session 3: Tuesday February 23, 2021

8a to 9:30a

You can join the above workshop sessions individually for $25 each or sign-up for the entire 40-Day Challenge for $40. The 40-Day Challenge includes all three sessions and a live daily meditation with me (5 to 30 minutes in length) from January 16 through February 22. We will have no recordings of those sessions, so there will be no available replays. I will be sending the independent link to join to those who sign up or express their interest in joining.

Click on this link to find out more about the workshops and the 40-Day Challenge. Feel free to reach out to me directly at octavianasr@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.

Check the Octavia Nasr Website for the latest schedule of in-person and livestream classes and offerings on Omkara Yoga and Lift Yoga Dunwoody.

Finally, please note that I am currently not taking any private students before May/June 2021. I apologize for those of you who were hoping to take or continue your Yoga Philosophy or Yin Yoga certifications. Stay tuned for the next available dates in Atlanta and/or Rishikesh.

Looking forward to practicing with you in person or online. Please stay safe and stay well!

Love and more Love,

Octavia
